Students from Rochambeau Middle School participated in the state-wide Cyber Robotics Coding Competition (CRCC), held at the University of Bridgeport on December 6th, 2019. Jason Hu and Kevin Jin took second place overall, each earning a $1000 scholarship to the University of Bridgeport.
Participants included: Brandon Schuessler, Tristan Nee, Jason Hu, Tripp Latta, Will Bradshaw, Vincent Kuo, Rowan Vas, Breanna Gleisner, Sammy Zackin, Kevin Jin, and Lucas Picard. The RMS team was led by RMS teacher, Al Curtis. The purpose of the competition is to engage students in Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) learning by using game-based competitions that feature virtual 3D animated robot and focuses on code development. Students from 30 middle schools from across Connecticut took part in the CT – CRCC grand finale competition.
