8th Grade Washington Trip:
8th Grade students attending the Washington, DC Field Trip - The final payment of $200 is due this Thursday, March 23rd. Please drop the payment off in the cafe on your way into school on Thursday morning
Volleyball - will meet on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Rides should be in the North Lot by 4:30.
Memorial's 3rd annual Volleyball Tournament will be held Thursday, March 30th! The event will start at 2:45 and go until 5:30.
There will be 18 student teams and we are hoping to create staff teams as well! If you are interested in playing, we have attached our "Memorial Volleyball Rules".
If you don't want to show off your volleyball skills, we also need staff members who are willing to supervise the event.
The player/supervisor sign-up sheet is in the staff room. Hope to see you all there!
ANNUAL REGION 15 ART SHOW:
The Annual Region 15 Art Show will be held on Friday, April 28 (6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.) and Saturday, April 29 (10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.) in the Pomperaug High School Gymnasium. This show will feature artwork representing students in all grades from kindergarten through high school.
STUDENT GOVERNMENT: For any students interested in participating in the Talent Show in late April, you can pick up a form outside of Mrs. Grieder's room. Share your talent with Memorial with a 2-3 minute act during the show.
All forms are due by the end of the day Friday, March 10th. Auditions will be after school on March, 21st and 23rd. A schedule for show auditions will be posted outside Mrs. Grieder's room on the 21st. Check the schedule to be sure you are available for your audition time. Hope to see you at the auditions.

Tue., March 28th - tryouts for 8th grade baseball
Wed., March 29th - tryouts for 7th grade baseball
Fri., March 31st - tryouts for baseball (which group? - TBA)
HOMEWORK CLUB :
Homework club meets after school until 4:15. It meets Mon. through Thursday. There will be no homework club on half days. If you are interested in having your child be part of homework club, either you or your child can pick up the forms in the main office. Forms must be returned to Bev DeWitt in the office before your child attends.
