ANNOUNCEMENTS – October 16th A2

Reps will visit from Michigan State University at 8:45, Northeastern University at 10:10, Bryant University at 11:35 and Saint Anselm College at 12:45.  Please come to the counseling office with your signed pink pass.    

Attn:  Seniors. Senior Semi formal tickets are on sale this week in the cafeteria during lunch waves. Tickets are $65. You must have both your permission form and payment together to give to the class officers during the sale. Please check your email for online registration information and permission forms to print. Extra permission forms are available on Mrs. Kennedy's desk in the resource center. Please see Mrs. Kennedy or Mrs. McCauley with any questions.     

A friendly reminder that the Pomperaug Robotics Team will be holding an informational meeting for interested new members today after school from 2:15pm to 4:30pm, the meeting will begin in room 124.  No prior Robot experience required.    

Pomperaug High School is going Pink for a Day on Friday, October 26th in support of breast cancer awareness.  Buy your Panther pink T-shirt to show your support. All proceeds will be donated to the Harold Leever Cancer Center.  Order forms can be found in your emails, outside of room 410 and during your lunch waves.  Orders will be taken until October 18th!    

Please come on Thursday, October 18th to room 404 right after school to learn about the Big Brother/ Big Sister Club! This club will be visiting Driggs Elementary School in Waterbury once a week to play fun games, do crafts, tutor and build relationships with elementary students. 

NHS will be hosting its annual Fall Blood Drive on October 24th. Sign-ups will be during lunch waves. All students 17 and older are encouraged to consider signing up.  See an NHS officer for more information.    

The next ecology meeting will be TODAY Oct.16th right after school in room 404.    

The entire senior class picture will be taken on Monday, Oct 29th during advisory.  Please report to your advisory and wait to be called down to the main gym.  All seniors should wear their senior T-Shirts.    

Gaming Club will begin on Wednesday and will meet in Room 423 until 3:30 each week.  This club is open to all students.  There will be video game systems and a variety of board games available.  Feel free to bring your favorite game to share.
